Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by. I might have just returned from snowshoeing, with my camera in tow, of course.

I invite you to check out my blog to share in my experiences throughout the seasons. And please browse through the portfolio pages for a sampling of my photographic images and the way I see the world around us. Life is short, and there is beauty and big adventures awaiting for us all!

From my blog:

Early winter ice

With a quick plummet of the temperatures we are now in winter. Our unusually long and temperate autumn has disappeared. The ducks and geese have departed for warmer areas and open water. Holiday cards and 2022 desk calendars

My holiday cards and 2022 desk calendars are now available for purchase. Each year presents a new challenge in determining which images to use for the cards and calendars. Some photographs I think of as my “favorites” and they certainly rise to the top. Others are “hidden gems” that I have overlooked in previous edits.…

The end of fall

And just like that, Mother Nature has flipped a switch and we’re at the end of fall. It’s been a glorious and unusually long season this year in the upper Midwest but like all good things it has come to an end. Five days ago the wind was still, the sun was shining, and the…

A little about me:

I became a photographer later in life and have enjoyed the journey of seeing and appreciating the world around me. I have lived in Kansas, Washington, and now Minnesota and Wisconsin, and have learned that there is beauty to be found everywhere. My photographic images have been exhibited in these states and have been seen in numerous publications. In 2008 I was selected as an Artist in Residence by the National Park Service, exploring the Herbert Hoover birthplace site in West Branch, Iowa.

All of my images are available as original archival quality prints, and also as distinctive and beautifully designed notecards and greeting cards. In the Twin Cities area my cards can be found at Regina’s Fine Candies and Gerten’s Garden Center. Each year I offer a collection of holiday cards and desk calendars for the upcoming year. I hope you will check back for further information and updates.
